Not a Number Architects is a design practice dedicated in redefining spatial engagement in contemporary culture. Merging architectural thinking with technological innovation has lead to the production of several award winning projects that vary in size, program as well as their cultural and environmental settings. Prizes received include the Young European Architects Award at the Venice Biennale, Architecture Master Prize, Paris Design Award and FRAME Award.
Founded in London in 2008 by Ermis Adamantidis and Dominiki Dadatsi then moved to Thessaloniki in 2011, NaNA has since been involved in a diverse range of projects spanning from space installations to urban planning. NaNA invest time in testing ideas that make architecture perform in multiple levels. Design research and critical analysis instead of predefined formulas is what they believe can make architecture resonate in contemporary cultures.
The studio creates unique architectural concepts that manage to stand out in their urban context but also blend in their environmental setting. They always combine strong spatial narratives with a sensibility on sustainable solutions and social inclusivity that inspire and activate both users and visitors of their projects.
